Life is such an odd thing. It takes a form of evolution that, instead of taking millions of years, can take only a second. Your entire path can change because of one event, one word, even just one thought. Dreams change, dreams die, but life moves on. It never stops, it never breathes, it never slows just enough to allow you to fully appreciate it. All we can do is move with life, hanging on with every fabric of our being. We must enjoy each place that we ride through on this journey, because once we reach the destination… it’s over. Forever.

Tonight I am going to see the Ringling Bros. Gold Unit circus, Illuscination, featuring “thrillusionist” Dave (Womach) Da’Vinci. I am absolutely pumped to see the show as I have heard great things, and I know that Dave is quite a talented magician. I will posting a Vlog later on about my trip to the show, and share my thoughts on it. As a magician, I am hyper-critical of any shows involving magic, so I will give you guys the most honest review you are likely to find anywhere. The Magic of Color Correction in Video Editing

So above is a little screen shot showing the magic of color correction in video editing. The image to the left is the original, untouched source video, and the image to the right is after a little playing. It’s simple touches such as saturation and contrast that take average looking video and make it look very pro. All I did was increase my contrast slightly and barely touched my saturation, making the colors of my face look a little warmer. Upping the contrast made my face a little more white, but that’s nothing that some brightness changes wouldn’t correct. Anyway, just a little video editing tip and a behind the scenes looking into my video editing obsession
