Free Stuff – The Internet Is Grand
There are many reasons to love the internet – Social connection, entertainment, sharing things you create, and more. While I always intend on giving more to the online community than I take, it’s pretty cool when sites and communities give back.
Recently I’ve gotten a few things from various sites and people, so I figured I’d share them with you guys and let you know about the great people who gave them to me.

The first item is this great TeenyTile sent to me by Echofon. They sent out a Tweet about a little giveaway for people who supported them. I’ve used Echofon since it was Twitterfon and absolutely love it. These guys are a great company and the gave away one of the coolest and most unique prizes I’ve ever seen.
Shortly after that, DFTBA Records had their own Twitter giveaway where DFTBA supporters could win a free MP3 of Hank Green’s “Demolition Derby”. Fun song by a great artist and label!
The last thing I won was actually just this morning. A well known mentalist had a FaceBook giveaway of a free PDF from his website. I got one on bending metal with the mind.

Personally, I don’t think I’ve won anything on the internet. However, I’ve lost a whole lot, but I wont go into that–embarrassing. = [
I’d be curious to see you demonstrate how metal can be bent with your mind!
By the way, are you familiar with the mentalist Darren Brown?
I definitely know Derren Brown, the guy is terrific! I actually happen to be doing a metal bending demonstration this Saturday for a charity talent show audition. I’ve been working on this act for about 2 and a half years now, we’ll see how it goes.
Please tell me you’re going to film that and upload it dude!
